Before I even peek at the ingredients list, I just have to share this: one of my amazing followers sent in the sweetest story along with a family recipe she treasures. Her grandmother used to call her and her twin sister “her little pea and carrot,” which might be the cutest nickname situation I’ve ever heard.
She even included a handwritten scan of the recipe — well, her handwriting, because Grandma apparently cooked by instinct and vibes only. Honestly, I love that energy.
I haven’t looked at the recipe yet (saving that moment for when I can really dive in!), but I absolutely adore when fans send me their family favorites, especially ones wrapped in memories and love.
